May 5, 2025 – Sunset Mesa School came alive with color, culture, and curiosity during this year’s World Culture Day. Each spring, the campus transforms into a global learning experience, and this year was no exception.

Sunset Mesa Students gather the passports and ready to explore the cultures of the world.
Students received their “passports” and set off on a journey around the world—traveling from table to table as parent volunteers brought different countries to life.
At each stop, students explored traditions, tasted foods, and participated in hands-on cultural activities. From learning about daily life in other countries to sampling international cuisine, students experienced the world in a way that goes far beyond the classroom.

Students learn about the food and culture of Finland.
Throughout the day, excitement and curiosity filled the campus as students asked questions, made connections, and discovered new perspectives.
World Culture Day continues to be a highlight of the school year, offering students a meaningful opportunity to explore global cultures while building an appreciation for the diverse world around them.
