Proficiency Report By Grade in 2023
The state of Iowa has defined three achievement levels – Not Proficient, Proficient and Advanced. These achievement levels are used by the Department of Education in the calculation of Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for schools and districts.Â
Sunset Mesa School students test on the Iowa Assessments each year to determine their achievement level in Reading and Math. These tables show the percentage of Sunset Mesa students that are Proficient or better.
